Another GREAT performance PHC. I know GK loves to have you on the show. I liked his comment, "we would have you on the show just for your beautiful smile alone" :0) We are soooo lucky and happy we have both, your singing voice and smile. We going to try and see you in Durham, NC on July 6th. May the winds always behind your sail!!

I turned on the radio last week and found myself singing a song I knew. It took me a minute to realise it was you, on live radio, I was singing with. I remember the first time you tried to get us to do "Whereever You Are" as a singalong at Old Songs in 2011. The song always brings me happy/sad tears. So glad your music is getting out to a wider audience. Sorry we won't be seeing each other at Old Songs this summer, but exceedingly happy your career is doing so well. My best to you and your family.

I still remember seeing you at the Philly Folk Fest and the wonderful smile that you shared with me in the sunshine after your set. Your songs make my heart happy and help to show the way to remembering the positive in a mindful way. It's great to see you play on PHC and I hope I get to see you live again. Deep thanks and namaste!

I caught half a song on MPR Saturday and thought..I know that intonation, who is that..that's Ellis!! When Garrison said he would have you on for your smile alone, I texted a friend that I use to see all your concerts in the cities with told her I miss her sweet smile too. Time to get together with old friends and hear some new songs!

Ellis, I heard you sing for the first time over the weekend, I was alone in the car (very unusual) and so tuned to NPR and caught just you, singing. I sat parked in awe. Spent yesterday watching video and listening to your music. I've shared the heck out of you on Facebook and Pandora and plan to check out your show when you come to Eno Fest in July. Just...thank you. For reminding me again of what's really important.

Hi Ellis! Today it´s the first time that I listen to your songs - they are wonderful!

Do you plan to make a tour in Europe anytime? Maybe a concert in Linz/Austria? That would be great!

Thank you for sharing your gift in Ann Arbor this past weekend. Perhaps the only thing bigger than your vocals and smile is your heart. Godspeed-

Ellis - I am so grateful to have your words and song bless our family today! We listen to Prairie Home almost every Sunday - it's our church:) Only today, we heard your voice and left Prairie Home -in the middle of "Service":) and spent the next hour and a half soaking up your words and song online - me and the kids on the couch - singing and crying and dancing - It was so lovely to have my children ask to listen again and again to "Where ever you are" -- They are 9 and 11 and I feel my babies slipping away, but what a refreshing insight to get to enjoy words and song that come from the heart with them -they are old enough to get it... they 'heard' your words and saw your passion and joy as you sang - I am an old salt, a Grandmother's Child:) and I often find the heart in life and song, but to have the children listen and "Hear" the power of your words?! To see that they understand at least a piece of what love means?! That is such a gift -I am so grateful! We will be listening, smiling, and singing with you always! Blessings - Lee and Max and Sami:)

Dear Sweet Ellis--I was late for an event and was running out of the house when Life of the Cowboys was playing on Prairie Home Companion today. Since my dogs like PHC (or so they've told me), I left in on for them. As I was leaving, I realized I needed something from my room, zoomed back in, and then was completely frozen, captured by How Would It Be. I stood, not moving, my hands at my heart, breathing slowly, deeply. Your words are nails in wood, birds flying, and really matter in the beginning and the end. I have been changed by you. How would it be if the world lived by your truth and beauty? Thank you!

I heard you on NPR today, found your site and and your beautiful songs "Wherever You Are" and "Right Now".

Two songs that touched our two hearts, and while we cannot be together, you have given us two anthems for a love eternal.

Thank you for your faith in love, and your wonderful, uplifting music.

Heard you on Prairie Home Companion and fell for your songs and your music. Iam just sorry I couldn't be there in person. But I am so glad to have found you. When I heard "Wherever You Are", it brought tears. I shared it the next day with my wife, she had tear appear too,(luckly they rebroardcast the show on Sundays). Thank you so much for your voice and your songwriting.

"Wherever You Are" could have been written about my late husband and I. He was killed at 36 in an accident. That was 32 years ago, yet I still feel his presence! He's always with me. I was at the 6/1/13 concert singing this song with you, tears streaming down my face. Thank you SO-SO much!!
